Remembering the Catskills takes us on a walk down the most magnificent memory lane - with the spectacular stories of the much-beloved Borscht Belt in New York’s Catskills Mountains.  During its heyday, the Catskills were checkered with hundreds of bungalow colonies, hotels, and rooming houses.  From the 1930's to the 1970's, the Catskills Mountains was the place to go for vacation when you lived in the Tri-State Area.  While some hotels remained opened all year, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, the Catskills was booked and bouncing with energy and excitement, with some of the best up-and-coming and established comedic and musical talent performing throughout the circuit, bringing tremendous joy and laughter to families during this bygone era.

Ron MacCloskey, who worked at the Brown’s Hotel in the 1970s, hosts and produces Remembering the Catskills
